Totally Random Fact

According to Sara Moulton’s guest chef on the Food TV network, the majority of semolina wheat milled and manufactured into pasta in Italy is grown in the United States.  Hmm…

  1. Well…so much for real semolina then…
    After having come from Europe, I understand even more than I did before the difference between real fruits and vegetables, grown in real soil, really left to ripen on the plant as God intended and the average psuedo stuff they try and pass off as produce in the grocery stores.
    Bummer about the pasta.
