Pretty interesting, huh?  I think that more people can read it than not.  I will be back later to complete this entry.

We have been without land line phone service since yesterday.  It’s kind of nice to not have the noise but it is an inconvenience.  Thankfully, our cell phones are working and we have electricity.  The west side of town has been dealing with power outages and we are in the (hopefully) the tail end of a heatwave.

  1. Hey G, yeah, it was easy to read…just like speed reading. 🙂 haha…so do I have to teach N and J spelling then? looks like it’s not so necessary after all? haha…..
Will look for the rest of the entry. Hope things are good for you. 🙂 N and I went swimming today again, and yeah, she’s progressed ! pRaise God she’s overcome some of that fear instilled in her during swiming lessons!
Tkae crae daer! and heav a baeutiufl day. 🙂

  2. wow i am smarted than i thought…
:o) smiles are free and contagious…so pass one right now to the people you love and those you don’t…soon everyone will be smiling… :o)

  3. I guess that explains why I never notice my typos… I’m just too smart!  😉
    Um… right… or maybe because I just can’t spell.
    Have a fantastic Thursday!

  4. I’m with Jane – I never notice my spelling errors — my boss does though.  Hmmm wonder if he can read this.

  5. I love this thing..I can read it easily. And I’m a spelling fanatic! I may have to steal this and put it up to see how many can read it.. Hope you’re having a great week!
    hugs,
    Jean

  6. Hey 🙂
That is an interesting piece.  Ive seen a couple like that before.  I agree, I bet the % should be a bit higher, as Im guessing more people then that number can read it.
We’ve been having some really hot days too over here.  I’m loving it. 🙂 What happened to your phone service to be out?  Hopefully it gets fixed soon for you.  It is nice for the quiet, but its an important thing to have at the same time.  Thankfully there are cell phones. 🙂
And its so nice to have someone that I can call my own personal designer.  Clothes that are tailor fitted to me, its great.  I definatly appreciate all the work she has done.
Thank you for always dropping by my space.  Im going to get back into the swing of things and start visiting more often again. 🙂
Hope youre having a great week. Take care.
    *Hugs*

  7. Hi G:  That was really strange reading that, and finding that I could read it all just fine.  Guess I’ll get off my 16 year old’s back about her spelling!  Take care and have a lovely rest of the week!

  8. Hello Gail,

Interesting read but 55% can actually read it? I figured the figure would be lower since text messaging is really messing up the language. I wonder how many people could read something done with the ancient Egyptian alphabet? It had no vowels in it, Cleopatra was spelled KLPTR. Or haw many people can read upside down and backwards? Interesting things to explore. I’ll have to see if I can find any of that out.

We have hit our average annual rainfall (18") with a little more than 6 months to go. Central Texas has really gotten hit hard – harder than we have, our farmers are hurting just as bad from the rain and hail – some of which reaced softball size but mostly golf ball sized.

Hope your telephone is back and working.

    Peace & Blessings.

  12. Initially I was going to make some smart remark, but then I thought better about it.  I was able to read this and at first I thought there was no way, but once I got the hang of it, I blew right through it.It is absolutely phenomenal how the mind can work.Billy
