And What Day Did You Say it Is?

There was no way my mind as going to grasp that yesterday was Thursday.  Therefore, it was Friday.  The rest of the world is off and so my Friday Falderal was on time in my book!
One thing I neglected to stress in my entry yesterday is the importance of early intervention.  In the States, state agencies have to be on top of it if you contact them.  I believe that most if not all states have this available.  If you love a child and just know that something is not right do the research.  The earlier the better.  I knew something was off with Bells before she was a year old.  It’s hard for me not to kick myself for not getting the help she needed because I didn’t want her mother to have any more stress.
Well, my insomnia is back and I am having a nice instant message with a friend in Oklahoma so I’ll leave it here.
blessings, g

  1. Lifting Bells up in prayer.  You are wise to mention early intervention.  Please don’t be too hard on yourself.  Youngsters are difficult to pinpoint unless it is blatantly obvious.  Gail, Lunesta helps me wonderfully with insomnia.  Little chance of addiction and can be used only as needed.  It has worked wonders for me.  If you are like me, you don’t like taking medication, but lack of sleep can be extremely harmful in the long run.  Hope it works out for you whatever action you take.  Insomnia is mentally and physically taxing.  You and your family remain in my prayers.
p.s. Have you tried sound therapy?  White noise or the sound of rain ease tension and promote sleep.

  2. Hello, Miss G ~
Love the word Falderal, and I like that you use it in memory of your friend.
Bells will be fine. Do you know how many things WE would have had growing up if there were names for them back then???? She will grow out of it, I’m positive. Really.
Sometimes the medical community needs to quite trying so darn hard to give us all something… when in essence young children have A TON OF ENERGY.
I haven’t had trouble with my insomnia since working at the wood hobby place dealing with the customers… UFF. I come home exhausted. On Thursday evening I was sound asleep for the night by 7:30 pm. That is unheard of. I can hardly wait til it’s over kind of. The art is suffering as a result too.
Love you dear one. Hang in there, be happy as you can be… trust the Lord and His plans.

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love Him, who are the called according to His purpose, Romans 8:28.
So don’t stress.  God’s got a plan!  And it’s always good (Jeremiah 29:11).
    Love you much!
    CL 🙂
